Winemakers have many secrets, and one of them is that within each grape variety there can be sub-varieties, known as “clones.” These clones make up the color palette winCouemakers utilize to paint their masterpieces. Experience life as a winemaker-for-a-day as you blend Pinot Noir clones from the vines grown with care at our Willakia estate vineyard.

If you appreciate older and rare Pinot Noir, this might just be the package for you. The 1985 vintage was one of the better early vintages for Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. These wines should have corks removed carefully and be decanted to remove sediment. Enjoy immediately.  The wines express soft fruit, acid, and tannins, but they are best enjoyed with food. The wines were donated by Oregon wine pioneer, Dick Erath.
